The record
I.M IS A
POSITION
NOT A SECTION.
The label began in 2023 in a Peckham loading bay, with four pieces, one pattern block and a question that would not go away: why does a garment need to know who is wearing it?
So we removed the question. Every I.M piece is drafted once, graded once, and cut in the same heavy, forgiving proportions. Shoulders sit low. Hems fall long. Sleeves are cut wide enough to disappear into. The result is clothing that reads as a silhouette first and an identity second — and entirely yours to finish.
Archive 001 is eight pieces: two hoods, two tees, two outer layers, one trouser and a cap. Nothing returns. When a run is gone it stays in the record.
Archive 001 — studio, London
Material
520gsm brushed cotton fleece from a mill in Portugal, 280gsm compact jersey from northern Italy, and a three-layer recycled shell rated to 10k/10k. No blends where a pure fibre will do.
Sizing
XS to XXL on a single unisex block. Every garment is measured flat on the studio table before it ships, so the size on the label is the size you get.
Runs
Between 60 and 140 units per piece, produced twice a year. Deadstock fabric is used first, which is why colours shift slightly between archives.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Orders leave the London studio within two working days. UK delivery is 1–3 working days, Europe 3–5, and the rest of world 5–9. Shipping is complimentary on every order in this archive.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unworn pieces with tags attached. Email the studio with your order number and we will send a label.
GARMENT CARE
Wash cold and inside out, with like colours, on a short cycle. Never tumble a heavyweight fleece — hang it and let the weight of the cloth pull it back into shape. Technical shells should be washed with a technical detergent and air-dried; the DWR finish reactivates with a cool iron through a cloth.
WEAR IT
YOUR WAY.
